As I walked inside the restaurant, crowded with wait staff running around, a petite waitress caught my eyes. She had ran past me three times by the time I left the balcony. She had long brown hair with curls at the end, and a touch of yellow on the edges of her hair. Her round glasses stood in front of her brown eyes as she breathed in and out quickly. Her chest raised behind a fully buttoned up white shirt. She almost dropped the empty tray resting on her waist when she noticed my gaze. I raised my hand to call her, and she followed with a nervous smile.

The name tag located right above her left breast said her name was Berra.

I pulled out my Necklace and handed to her. “I need this to be delivered to Artemis.”

Berra’s eyes followed the purple cloth’s wiggle on air. “Okay.”

“In private.”

“I am sorry, sir?” She looked at me.

“You must not let anyone else on that table see this necklace. Tell Artemis that Clint thinks she should have some fun in town, and he apologizes for your first meeting.”

Her nails dyed in dark colors wrapped around the rope of the necklace. “Okay.” Berra shook her head.

“Just for a night. No longer.” I patted my pockets, only to remember I haven’t carried my wallet in such a long time. “Aah, I wanted to pay you.”

“Oh, no need.” She smiled. “You are a guest of Dionysus.”

“Please. I will feel bad forever if I can not. Do you visit his rooms often?”

Berra escaped her eyes. Her cheeks appeared to burn up. “To the top floor? It’s a lotto to get in. I never won. Not sure if I want to either.”

“After your delivery, come join me.” I shook my head. “Tell them you are invited by Aphrodite’s consort.”

She opened her mouth to say something, but let out a sigh instead while escaping her eyes to the ground. As I walked away to call an elevator, I heard her calling after me.

“Will SHE be there?!?”
